Meet the heart and soul behind our journey - our founder, whose passion for authentic Bengali sweets and dedication to quality laid the foundation for Joykali's legacy.
With traditional recipes passed down through generations and an unwavering commitment to excellence, he created more than a sweet shop - he created an institution that would bring joy to thousands.
In the vibrant heart of Pach Ani Bazar, our journey began in 1939. Founded with passion and dedication, Joykali Mistanna Bhandar started as a small sweet shop with big dreams.
We pioneered the authentic Porabari Chomchom recipe that would become our signature delight, quickly becoming known for our quality, authenticity, and the warm hospitality that made every customer feel like family.
As demand for our authentic sweets grew, we opened our first branch at the Old Bus Stand in 2001. This expansion marked a new chapter in our story.
The new location featured state-of-the-art facilities while maintaining our traditional preparation methods, ensuring every sweet carried the authentic Joykali taste that our customers cherished.
In 2009, our sweets reached even more hearts with the opening of our New Bus Stand location. Strategically positioned to serve travelers and locals alike.
This expansion allowed us to introduce our heritage sweets to visitors from across Bangladesh, spreading the joy of Tangail's culinary traditions far and wide.
